Emily Porta

Web Developer and Librarian

Find out what I can do for you

Who I am and what I do

Hi, I'm Emily. I'm a front-end developer who loves creating great looking web products with rock-solid code. I'm currently honing my skills at HackerYou until mid-June. Want to hire me after that? Great choice.
Get in touch.

HTML, CSS, Javascript, Jquery, Wordpress, and responsive design. I created this site from scratch, including every line of code.

I'm also a librarian. That means I'm completely at home with data and information on any scale. I'm an organizing machine who understands the bigger picture.

My professional and technical skills combine together to make me someone who works great with others, consistently performs above expectations, and delivers great products on time.

Forget what you think you know about librarians - and web developers. Except yes, I do love cats.

I'm a librarian who loves technology, and a developer with a eye for art and design. My undergrad is an Honours BA in Fine Art History. My Masters is in Library and Information Science. After that I went to HackerYou to become one of the best trained front-end web developers in the country.
